“In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous!”-Aristotle
The Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is such an incredible hidden gem in SWFL. It is 3,400 acres of wetland that measures 11 miles long and 1/3 miles wide. It is home to many animals, reptiles, insects, and soon-to-be endangered species. I visited this wonderful Fort Myers treasure with a friend from work, and during our journey we put together a wonderful gift for her husband. Below you will find a bunch of photos from our day. During our trek, I used my Nikon D3200 and Joby Gorillapod SLRZoom.

I highly recommend all SWFL residents to make their way to the Six Mile Cypress Slough. We met a man who visits 3 times a week, and always sees something different. He told us he has never regretted a trip. I will be back, but I must warn you, it is highly recommended to whisper. For those of you who know me personally, I do not know how to whisper. In fact it is impossible for me. I was Shhh’d three times. I don’t mind, as I have been Shhh’d my entire life. Since I have a naturally raspy voice, it carries and yes it tends to air on the louder side! Hey, I am not complaining! I love my voice, and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Thanks for reading, Love Bugs! Until next time.
Love it….love that you were shhh’d 3 times….so definitely you. Don’t ever stop, no matter how many times you’re told for that is what makes you most special. I love you forever to the moon and back and infinity and beyond!!!!!!
