Sean and I highly recommend a trip to Fiji! We wish we didn’t have to leave because we’re having a total blast. Honestly, we have had so much fun together. Our days have been full of exploring, relaxation and laughter. Today was absolutely wonderful. The Namale team set us up with 2 Private meals, and they were just to die for! We had breakfast on their “Lover’s Deck” looking over the ocean by the jacuzzi, and then dinner in a romantic cave. They decorated an oceanside cave with at least 100 tea lights so it was glimmering in the moonlight beautifully. In between meals, we went horseback riding on the beach and around the property. We also walked on reefs and explored the caves finding any and all hermit crabs we could find. After dinner, Sean became the “Bametti” in the Kava Ceremony. The “Bametti” mixes the kava in a huge bowl, and has the honor of handing it out. We spent the rest of the night hanging out with the workers (local Fijians) drinking Kava. I have some great videos of it that I will share once we get back to the states!
We had the most wonderful private breakfast. Here is the picture of the setup! Love my Seansy.A close up of our private Champagne breakfast! It was delicious. The blueberry pancakes reminded me soo much of my best friend, Ally, who loves them! Miss you Als!
There is an Occupied/Open sign outside of the breakfast area so it remains private! Sean and I clearly loved that, and had to snap a pic!On our walk back from breakfast, Sean picked me a wild peach hibiscus. Isn’t he the sweetest? There is a buddha right outside the spa. We spent a lot of time in the heavenly hydrotherapy pools, and decided we wanted to rub Buddha’s belly for luck! 🙂This is the view of one of the blowholes in the middle of the reef. It reminded me of the blowholes we saw in Hawaii. It was so beautiful. The sound of the blowhole spouting was so relaxing.Sean in the caves! We couldn’t get a picture of me looking at the camera with the blow hole spouting, so this will have to do! haha
Sean and I also went horseback riding on the beach, and around the Namale property. Doesn’t the front entrance look like Jurassic Park?
Sean and I absolutely loved the nightly 6:30pm cocktail hour! Ps. to all the ladies out there…the humidity in Fiji is horrible. I thought living in Florida was bad, it is brutal here. It is virtually impossible to straighten my hair. The Namale staff set up an incredibly romantic beachside cave dinner with 100s of tea lights.I thought it was so wonderful. We absolutely loved it.It was hard to photograph the 100s of tea lights so this blurry one will have to do! I am sure you get the idea. It was fabulous.Lastly, the wonderful Kava band that entertained us that night. Sean loved the Kava!I also cant forget to include this precious island kitty I found. I wish I could have took her home. She followed us around the entire night.
We had a great day/night. Thanks for reading Love Bugs! It means so much.
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!
